Shelley Kaye Staden Aderhold

Mrs. Shelley Kaye Staden Aderhold, age 60, of Zebulon, passed away December 6, 2024.  She grew up in Clarkston, GA, daughter of the late Herman Staden and Sue Tomberlin Henderson. For over 20 years, Shelley was a middle school art and science teacher.  She recently taught at CrossPointe Christian Academy in Hollonville. She was a very gifted artist who blessed others with talents.  She loved watching Jeopardy, crafting and nature and was an avid football fan. Shelley enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams, the GA Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, and the Pittsburg Steelers.

 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myrtle and Alton Aderhold and her brother-in-law, Mitchell Aderhold.

 

She is survived by her husband of over 41 years: Matthew Aderhold, Sr.; children: April Cone (Jon) of Zebulon, Jamie Lynch (Kaleb) of Concord, Matthew Aderhold, Jr. (Kirstie) of Zebulon and Aaron Aderhold (Holly) of Zebulon.

 

She was MeeMaw to her grandchildren: Matthew Greyson Aderhold, Levi Staden Wheeless, Liam Britt Aderhold, Jude Scott Wheeless, Harper Blake Aderhold, Everleigh Carter Aderhold and Addison Tate Lynch. She enjoyed attending their baseball, soccer, football and basketball games. They were everything to her.

 

She is also survived by her sisters: Sheri Haberman (Tony) and Susan Fowler (Chris); many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Fowler  officiating.  Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Measnville.

 

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 8, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
