Tammy Jane Gooding Garrett

Mrs. Tammy Jane Gooding Garrett, age 56, of Zebulon, passed away May 9, 2026, at her home.  Tammy was born in Jamestown, Tennessee and graduated from Alvin C. York Institute. She moved to Pike County in 1988. Tammy was a certified pharmacy technician and part owner of Beckham’s Pharmacy in Manchester for 26 years and more recently worked at Coker Pediatrics in Griffin.  She loved to tan, trips to the beach, shopping, 4-wheeling and spending time with her fur babies and grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brooks “Red” Gooding and Virginia Price Beaty and her Granny who raised her, Ollie Gooding.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Garrett; children: Daniel Garrett (Ashley) of Barnesville and Tyler Garrett (Kayla) of Woodbury; grandchildren: Caroline, Callan “Calico”, and Kynleigh; brother: Tim Gooding (Robin) of Jamestown, TN; nieces and a nephew: Casey Linder, Josh Gooding, and Baily Gooding.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  

A service to celebrate Tammy’s life will follow at 6 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Ford officiating.
