Tammy Louise Byrd Thompson, age 55, of Williamson, passed away March 11, 2026, at her home. Tammy grew up in Dadeville, AL, daughter of the late William E. Byrd and Estella Irene Freed Byrd.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, going to the beach, spending time with her kids/grandkids, and a beautiful sunset in the south.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Leroy Byrd, sister, Sherry Marie Byrd, nephew, Christopher Lee Byrd, brother, William V. Byrd, and great-nephew, William Beau Olah.
She is survived by her children: Katie Thompson (Adam Cahill), Cheyenne Thompson (Joshua Tanksley), and Jacob Thompson; grandchildren: Mila Wren Tanksley, Maeve Noelle Tanksley, and Callum Lee Tanksley; sister and brother: Teresa Olah (Steven), and Ricky Byrd.
