Timothy H. Bishop

Mr. Timothy H. Bishop, age 66, of Zebulon, passed away February 7, 2025.  Tim grew up in Griffin and graduated from Griffin High School in 1976. He was an Industrial Mechanic for Atlas Roofing in Hampton, where he had worked for the last 38 years. Tim was the best dad and Paw-paw who dearly loved his family. He enjoyed cooking for them and was especially good at making hot wings and fried fish.  He was a sports fan. The Atlanta Braves and GA Bulldogs were his favorite teams.   

He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Bishop.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Melanie Bishop; daughters: Holli Adams (Jason), Brandi Baade (Matt) and Abbi Gregg (Chris); grandchildren: Darian Adams, Brody Adams, Evie Adams, Olivia Gregg, Callan Gregg, Oliver Baade, Theodore Baade, and Matthew Baade who is due in April; mother:  Elsie Bishop; brothers: Chris Bishop (Celia), Ken Bishop (Cheryl) and Rocky Bishop; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Taylor and Rev. Terry Ison officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
