TWO ARRESTS IN HOUSE SHOOTUP

UPSON COUNTY SHERIFF DAN KILGORE ANNOUNCES TWO THOMASTON MEN HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR FIRING 31 ROUNDS AT 2030 WILEY ST. IN LINCOLN PARK, EARLY THURSDAY. BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND--JAYDEN WASHINGTON, AGE 19 AND JACOB NATHANIEL MILLAN, 17. THE SHERIFF TOLD US, THE INCIDENT APPARENTLY INITIATED BECAUSE OF A SOCIAL MEDIA POST INVOLVING A FAMILY MEMBER NOT AT HOME AT THE TIME.


THERE WERE FOUR PEOPLE INSIDE THE HOME AT THE TIME OF THE SHOOTING, A 37 YEAR OLD MOTHER, AND HER THREE CHILDREN, AGES 12, 16, AND 17, BUT NO ONE WAS HURT. TWO FIREARMS RECOVERED, AN AR-15 ASSAULT RIFLE AND A RUGER PISTOL. WASHINGTON AND MILLAN ARE CHARGED WITH FOUR COUNTS OF AGGREVATED ASSAULT AND POSSESSION OF A FIREARM IN COMMISSION OF A CRIME. SHERIFF KILGORE SAID THE INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.
