UPSON'S COUNTY MANAGER IS LEAVING

Upson County Manager Jason Tinsley has accepted the newly created position of Assistant County Administrator of Fayette County after serving Upson County for 7 years. Speaking with 101 News, Jason thanked the commissioners who hired him and said leaving has nothing to do with the new administration in county government. Tinsley recalled what he said were the many accomplishments of county government during his service, but added it was a team effort. He noted these days, 7 years is quite a long time to serve a local government and he looks forward to new challenges in Fayette County. Jason said his family plans to continue to live in Upson County, for now.
