Vickie Lynn Eidson Pace

Mrs. Vickie Lynn Eidson Pace, age 61, of Thomaston, passed away September 3, 2025. Vickie was born in Albertville, Alabama, daughter of the late James Edwin Eidson and the late Mary Mageline Tucker Eidson. As a teenager, she moved with her family to High Falls, where she lived for many years before making Thomaston her home.


Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, and “MawMaw.” She had a giving heart and was a natural caregiver. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. Vickie was also an excellent cook and an avid reader. She was known for her honesty, her strong will, and her ability to always speak her mind.


She is survived by her husband: Darren Pace; children: Tarina Worthington, Kelly Pace and Kayla Ruiz (Javi); grandchildren: Darius, Drake, Noah, Kaizer, and Chloe; and a great-granddaughter on the way: Jade; sisters and a brother: Belinda Eidson, Brenda Eidson, Shirley Hattaway (David) and Billy Eidson (Donna); many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. 

 

A celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
