Vickie White Schultz

Mrs. Vickie White Schultz, age 74, of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Upson Regional Medical Center with her children and husband by her side.

Vickie was born on January 5, 1952, in Thomaston to the late Lamar Hall and Maxine Ledford Hall. From an early age, she carried a joyful curiosity about the world. She had a zest for life that showed in the way she loved to travel, explore, and embrace new adventures in her younger years. A true free spirit, Vickie felt most at home outdoors—tending to her garden, admiring flowers, caring for animals, and soaking in the beauty of nature around her. And always knowing that a cardinal in her yard was an angel stopping by.

She was known for her kind and loving heart. Vickie had a way about her that made people feel welcome, cared for, and at ease. Whether she was cooking a meal for her friends and family, sharing from her garden, or offering a warm smile, she expressed her love in meaningful ways. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than having her family gathered together.

Vickie was an active member of the Spade and Trowel Garden Club and First Presbyterian Church of Thomaston, where she formed many lasting friendships through her love of gardening and fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Schultz; her children, Leslie (Trey) Carter, Chas (Jaime) White, and Katie White; and her beloved grandchildren, Bradley Carter, Laynie White, Charlie White, Parker White, Brooks Brennan, and River Brennan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Thomaston. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
