Wreck in Upson County Claims a Mothers Life

Friday (02/13/2026), at 10:06pm, a Ford F-450 driven by 23-year-old Alex Ryan Evans was traveling north on Trice Cemetery Road. A Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 29-year-old Leslie Lachelle Craven was traveling south on Trice Cemetery Road. Evans the driver of the Ford F-450 failed to maintain his lane of travel, while negotiating a curve, and struck Craven’s Chevrolet Tahoe in the driver’s side front with the driver’s side front of his Ford F-450. Craven was pronounced deceased, on-scene, by the Upson County Coroner. Evans has been charged with Homicide by Vehicle (First Degree), D.U.I., and several other misdemeanor charges.
