A Spalding County Jury heard the case of the State of Georgia vs Jadaquis Noble and Dianna Kingsbury on March 24, 2025. Jadaquis Noble was charged in a multi-count indictment with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault and several counts of Violation of the Georgia Criminal Street Gang Act. Dianna Kingsbury was charged with Tampering with Evidence and Violation of the Georgia Criminal Street Gang Act.
The case was tried before the Honorable Judge W. Fletcher Sams in the Superior Court of Spalding County. Assistant District Attorney Adelle Petersen and Chief Assistant District Attorney David Studdard tried the case for the State.
During the week-long trial, the jury heard evidence that Noble along with Damoni Beck (previously tried and convicted) stalked the victim, Jacqueris Holland, and waited until the victim was on a darkened stretch of North Hill Street alone in his vehicle. Noble and Beck pulled up alongside Mr. Holland and fired into his vehicle, hitting and killing Mr. Holland. During the assault, Beck was accidently shot in the arm by his co-defendant. The jury heard and saw evidence of Nobles gang affiliation and that the murder of Mr. Holland was gang related.
The vehicle that Noble was in belonged to Diana Kingsbury. Evidence at trial showed that Ms. Kingsbury lied about her involvement in the crime and aided Noble in covering up the crime.
The jury returned guilty verdicts for both defendants. On June 18, 2025 Judge Sams sentenced Mr. Noble to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 75 years. Ms. Kingsbury was sentenced to 11 years in prison followed by 15 years on probation.
District Attorney Marie Broder said of the verdicts, "Gang violence will not be tolerated in our community. This sad and senseless act of violence impacts everyone. My office will continue to work with our Law Enforcement partners and concerned citizens to eradicate gangs and gang violence from our community. The Jury took a big step in helping us all in accomplishing that goal with their verdict."
