I’m Dr. Ken Morgan running For County Commissioner

Chairman:

I’ve been an Upson County Tax payer nearly 40 years .

I’m a Retired Physician, so I have time to devote and work hard for Citizens of Upson County

I have and will continue to meet with many of Governmental officials to get up to speed on the complex workings of the County and its issues .

Just two issues, among many, Upson County faces are the growing Property Taxes for Home Owners and the Elderly . I have witnessed, as a Board of Equalization member, the hardships placed on our Elderly home owners. We need to look at all the ways to lessen the Property Tax burden going forward.

Also we  need to provide More assistance to the Volunteer Fire Departments in the County. These Volunteers are true heroes to the county resident’s emergencies … many times they performing their duties fighting fires and other emergencies most of the night… then go to their jobs the next morning.

Upson County has enormous potential, and through Team work with City and County Governments and Industrial Authority the future looks bright.

I’m here to listen to the County constituents to the Betterment of Upson County in the future .
