Elder William E. "Billy" Morgan

Elder William E. "Billy" Morgan, beloved member of the community and dedicated servant of the Lord, died on Monday April 7, 2025, at the age of 80, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1944, in Upson County, Billy led a life marked by service, compassion, and devotion.


A visitation will be held in his honor on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fletcher Day Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday April 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home, with Elder Steve Taylor officiating. At Billy's request, a private interment will take place where he will be laid to rest beside Fran at Trice Cemetery.
