Human Remains Found


The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a construction worker discovered what is believed to be partial human remains on Wednesday, according to a release.

The sheriff's office said that around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a construction worker with a crew working off Rumble Road was walking through a wooded area near St. Paul AME Church.

 

They said that the construction worker stumbled upon the partial remains on the ground and called investigators.


The sheriff's office said that there was nothing recognizable about the remains and that they are investigating.


They added that they are in the early part of their investigation, and more details will follow.
