Safety is our top priority in every community in which Brightmark operates.

In July, we voluntarily paused the plastics pyrolysis part of our processing line at our Ashley facility to implement the next generation of upgraded technology, and we notified the Indiana Department of Environmental Management that we were doing so. The balance of the facility’s operation is continuing uninterrupted.

Brightmark will employ this next-generation plastics-to-pyrolysis oil technology in our proposed Thomaston facility. The pause in Ashley has no bearing on our proposed operation in Thomaston.
