Judge Elizabeth Gobeil has faithfully served Georgia on the Court of Appeals for nearly 8 years. She was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2018 and was elected statewide in 2020. She currently serves as Vice Chief Judge of the court.
Judge Gobeil is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law. Before joining the court, she worked many years representing individuals, businesses, and organizations in civil practice matters. She also served as Director and Appellate Division Judge for the State Board of Workers’ Compensation, a position Governor Deal appointed her to serve in November of 2012. Earlier in her career, she worked in Washington, DC for the late U.S. Senator Paul Coverdell.
Among her professional engagements, Judge Gobeil serves on the Executive Committee of the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism, and the Judicial Council of Georgia’s Subcommittee on Artificial Intelligence and the Courts.
A native of Thomaston, Elizabeth and her husband Bart reside in Savannah where she serves her community through her church, the Rotary Club of Savannah, and as a volunteer with the Savannah Classical Academy. She is a class of 2012 graduate of Leadership Georgia.

Been looking into USDT as a payment method for a while now, mostly out of curiosity about how stablecoins behave in practice. The peg to the dollar is the main reason it caught my attention. Unlike BTC or ETH, you don't watch the value drift overnight, which removes one variable I never wanted to deal with.
From what I gathered right this way and from a few technical write-ups, USDT runs on multiple chains (Tron fees are notably lower than Ethereum), and it has been around since 2014. That track record matters more to me than marketing claims.
Use your own judgement and stay cautious.
