Mattie Lizzie Henderson Wohner, affectionately known as “Pete” passed away November 11, 2025.  Mattie grew up in Pike County, daughter of the late Harold Henderson and the late Maude Fogerty Henderson.  She moved to Griffin in 1965, where she lived for many years. In her early career, she was a disk jockey for WGRI in Griffin and WDEN in Macon and later worked for the Bibb County School System until her retirement in 1998.  Mattie and her husband, Joe, also lived in Kentucky

Barbara (Barby) Sue Dombach Richardson, age 88, passed away on 4 November 2025 from complications due to her dementia at her home in Concord, GA. Mr. Robert August Walther, age 100, died Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Pike Manor in Zebulon GA. Mr. Walther was born on January 8, 1925, in New York to the late Eva Walther.  He served his country in the US Army during WWII.  He worked for the US Postal Service and was a member of the VFW.  He is preceded in death by his mother.
