Mr. Wayne Lee “Matt” German, age 73, of Concord, passed away November 19, 2025, at his home.  Matt was born in Worcester, MA, son of the late Germain and the late Phillip Germain and the late Edith Mathieu Germain. Matt was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for four years and then reenlisted in the United States Army, serving an additional 24 years.  In August of 1980, Matt wed the love of his life, Sandra Bond. Mr. Christopher Alan Jackson, age 71, of Molena GA, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Jackson was born on March 5, 1954, in Alabama to the late Robert E. Jackson and the late Elna Louise Warren Jackson. He worked as a Mortgage Broker for many years and was a member of Thomaston First Methodist Church. Mr. Charles Allen Smith, age 82, of West Green, Georgia, passed away November 15, 2025.  Charles grew up in the Macon and Tifton areas and had lived in West Green, GA for the last 15 years.  For most of his working life, Charles was a plumber. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising chickens, tending his garden and trips to Panama City.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Mrs. Sylvia June McCard Sams, age 79, of Thomaston, died Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Harborview Health & Rehab in Thomaston. Mrs. Sams was born June 27, 1946 in Molena GA to the late Velma Kerr McCard. She retired from Thomaston Mills Peerless Div. and was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Tommy Thompson, age 82, of Thomaston, died Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Thompson was born on August 13, 1943, in Eufaula, Alabama, to the late Johnny F. Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Jones, age 62, of The Rock GA, died Friday, November 14, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center.   Mr. Jones was born on April 12, 1963, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Claude Leroy Jones and the late Brenda Sutton Sweat.  He served his country in the US Army and worked as an installer for International Fire Protection.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Lee Martin. Mr. Jeb Clayton Grace, age 63 of Thomaston, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Grace was born on June 17, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Louise Grace, and the late Barbara Ellerbee Grace.  He retired from Quad Graphics and was a member of Hendricks Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Floyd England Jr., 88, of Meansville, Georgia passed away in Macon, Georgia on November 10th, 2025. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 25th, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Maude England. Floyd retired from Ford Motor Company in Hapeville, Georgia, after 31 years of dedicated service, 25 of which he proudly served as a union representative. Mattie Lizzie Henderson Wohner, affectionately known as “Pete” passed away November 11, 2025.  Mattie grew up in Pike County, daughter of the late Harold Henderson and the late Maude Fogerty Henderson.  She moved to Griffin in 1965, where she lived for many years. In her early career, she was a disk jockey for WGRI in Griffin and WDEN in Macon and later worked for the Bibb County School System until her retirement in 1998.  Mattie and her husband, Joe, also lived in Kentucky

Mrs. Cherry Lee (E’Dalgo) Rush, beloved wife, faithful daughter, memory-making mother, creative grandmother, and joyful woman, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 76 in Fort Worth, Texas.
